Meet SANDY, a two year old ginger gal who was recently brought to our shelter. She was being fed by kind nuns outside a local convent but was too FRIENDLY to be living outside. Sandy solicits ATTENTION and will give you HEAD BUTTS when she meets you. Sandy will sit on your LAP while you PET her and she will FOLLOW you like a dog if you have something she wants like treats. She is a great CONVERSATIONALIST. Like many cats, Sandy will let you know when she has had enough petting. A cat savvy adopter who can read her signs would be best. Sandy is coexisting with other cats in our community cat room so can live in a home with other laid back, non-dominant cats. Sandy is available for meet and greets at our shelter in Long Beach, NY. She is spayed, UTD on shots, and FIV/FeLV negative.
